All our adults are now PLL (Primary Lense Luxation) tested with the Othopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA).
Our puppies are produced from Clear to Clear parents or Clear to Carrier parents. There is no chance to produce pups with PLL,
but only the chance of producing pups who will also be carriers. This can only happen with the Clear to Carrier breedings.
The pups produced from these breedings will need be OFA tested if bought to produce puppies. We asked the OFA about breeding a Clear to a Carrier and Dr. Keller's answer is below....and more info is also listed below the pictures of our Rat Terriers.
A clear to carrier mating will statistically produce 50% clear and 50% carriers without risk of developing PLL.
